FAQ
When will the full competition schedule be announced?
Because not all the countries that will participate in the 2026 FIH Hockey World Cup are known yet, the pool lineup and full match schedule will be announced in late March 2026.
How is the competition program structured?
There are four pools with four teams in both Women's and Men's. After the first pool phase, the two best teams from two pools are regrouped into a new pool. For example, the two best teams from Pool A and the two best teams from Pool D together form a new pool, Pool E. The same goes for Pools B and C, which together form Pool F.
In the second group stage, each country plays two more matches against the two "new" countries in the new pool. The result achieved against the country already played against in the first group stage also counts for the final ranking of the new pool. The best two teams from the new pools E and F qualify for the semifinals.
The numbers three and four from these pools will play placement matches for ranking 5 to 8. The countries from groups G and H will compete for places 9 to 16.
Is the ticket valid for all games played on that day?
Yes, it is a day ticket. So you can see all the games played on that day.
