Accessibility

Public transportation

The Wagener Stadium is easily accessible by public transport during the Hockey World Cup. Extra buses run between the World Cup grounds and Amsterdam Zuid station. Additionally, you can travel with NS at a discount starting from just two people. The larger the group, the higher the discount. You can find more information on this page.

If you are traveling by public transport, you can easily calculate your total door-to-door travel time. If you are coming by car and have a parking ticket, allow for approximately 25 minutes of extra travel time before you reach the World Cup grounds. From the parking lot, a shuttle bus will take you to the Amsterdamse Bos in about 10 minutes. From there, it is a 10 to 15-minute walk to the Hockey World Cup grounds.

Parking

Because there are other events taking place in the Amsterdamse Bos during the Hockey World Cup, it is not possible to park your car at the Wagener Stadium. Visitors to the Hockey World Cup can park their cars at the Aalsmeer/Amstelveen Zuid car park. Shuttle buses run between this car park and the stadium. The bus journey takes approximately 15 minutes.

Please note that from the shuttle bus stop (Emmakade), it is approximately a 10 to 15-minute walk to the entrance of the event site (the stadium).

You can purchase an online parking ticket (€21.50) for this car park. You can purchase this parking ticket directly during the match ticket ordering process.
