During the 2026 Hockey World Cup, volunteers will perform various tasks. Volunteers are the first point of contact for our visitors. Their most important task is therefore to give visitors a warm and hospitable welcome. In addition, you will help them to make their visit as pleasant as possible.
As a volunteer, you may be assigned to the following positions:
- Scanning tickets
- Handing out goodies and/or deposit tokens
- Checking tickets at the stands: you will ensure that people are seated in the correct place.
- Crowd control: you will supervise visitor flows at the venue, check whether people have access to certain areas and ensure that visitors get to where they want to go.
- Fan square control
Of course, it is possible to let us know your preference. Please mention this in your availability. In general, the following applies:
- When making the schedule, we ensure variety wherever possible. This means that one day you may be working in the stadium and the next day scanning tickets. This allows you to experience the atmosphere in different areas of the venue.
- You are there to help the visitors. If you are in the stadium, you can of course watch parts of the match. However, your first priority is supervision.
Both before and during the event, we always try to keep the lines of communication as short as possible, so you can always contact us or our supervisors if something
